Artist's Comments

This is a gift I painted for my friend for her birthday.
I don't have a name for it, so I just decided to call it what it is. I didn't get to scan it, and I probably never will since she has it now, but that's ok. This painting was done entirely from acrylic, with no ink or pencil was added to the finished design. The only reason I wanted to make it a painting was so the coloring would be easier, and I wanted to use my most hated media. I actually decided to put a backround!!! horray for me... As u already figured out, I CAN'T DRAW TREES OR SAKURA!!! [cherry blossoms]
I translated as best as I could, (I did it myself since most online translations are inacurate) The vertical text says, "I want to be a better friend, Haliey." from left-to-right is my name and the date, 2006 Sept, 29th.
